郭丹从事建筑设计已有18年，目前就职于日清设计，任资深设计总监。作为日清设计的项目技术负责人，她擅长技术创新，主要负责建筑节点、结构选型、幕墙设计、材料选择和整体的施工把控。

凭借出色的专业技术，郭丹获得了众多行业与奖项的认可，包括入围2021 WAN先锋女性建筑师奖。她参与设计的项目苏州“大家”获评2020亚洲建筑师协会建筑奖“荣誉提名”，这是亚洲最高的学术奖项。2022年，作为杰出女性建筑师的代表，她受邀英国皇家建筑师协会，参展2022 RIBA女性建筑师展，向广大公众传递她的项目和设计理念。

截至2022年，郭丹已有60个建成项目，其中许多项目获得世界领先奖项的认可，包括世界建筑节、世界建筑新闻奖、美国Architizer A+奖、英国蓝图奖、意大利THE PLAN奖、德国标志性奖等。

GUO Dan has been engaged in architectural design for 18 years. She is now the Senior Design Director at Lacime Archiects, the design practice which won 2020 WAN Awards’ Architect of the Year. GUO Dan is head of all technical issues of Lacime’s projects. She is expert in technological innovation and is mainly responsible for building nodes, structure selection, curtain wall design, material selection and overall construction control.

With her outstanding technical professionalism, GUO Dan has been recognized by a wide range of industries and awards, including being recognized as a finalist of 2021 WAN Female Frontier Awards. As the technical director, her project Suzhou "Dajia" won ‘Honorable Mention’ in 2020 ARCASIA Awards, which is the highest Asian academic honor. In 2022, as a representative of outstanding female architects, she received invitation from RIBA to participate in RIBA Women in Architecture 2022 Exhibition, delivering her projects and design notions to wider public.

Till 2022, GUO Dan has been responsible for 60 completed projects, and many of them got world’s leading awards recognition, including World Architecture Festival, WAN Awards, Architizer A+ Awards, Blueprint Awards, THE PLAN Awards, ICONIC Awards, etc.

1. WAN：在你看来，什么样的作品才是成功的？

郭丹：我认为能经受住岁月洗礼、历久弥新的作品是成功的，设计回归本质，不被技术和科技裹挟。

WAN: In your opinion, what makes a winning entry?

GUO: I believe that good architecture could withstand the baptism of time and never fade their charms. The design should return to its essence and not be coerced by technology and science.

2. WAN：对于参赛者提交的参评材料，您会给予怎样的建议与提示？

答：希望参赛作品能够关注建筑空间和室内空间、结构空间的一致性，好建筑的空间有着不可分割的整体性。

WAN: What tip would you give to entrants when they are creating their entry?

GUO: I hope entrants' submissions could reveal their attention to the consistency of architectural space, indoor space and structural space, cause a good architecture has an inseparable space integrity.

3. WAN：今年你最期待从参赛作品中看到什么？

答：今年最期待看到参赛作品更有地域特色，更好的展现各国的文化自信。

WAN: What are you most looking forward to seeing from the entries this year?

GUO: I am most anticipating to seeing the entries with more regional characteristics, better showcasing the cultural confidence of various countries.
